Week 4
On 04/08/2025 I reached school on 9.15 am, and signed in the register. There was assembly today. After the assembly teacher assigned duties for us to conduct social science quiz competition. I conducted the competition in 10.E class. Then after serving lunch I had substitution class for 9.A on 8th period. I taught the topic uniform acceleration and non uniform acceleration. It was the last period. So, I felt difficulty to manage the class. I used ICT, activity cards to present the content. I felt students facing difficulties in problem solving section.
On 05/08/2025 I reached school on 9.15 am and signed in the register. The school was conducted science fair, social science fair and work experience fair today. So all of us have duties. It was really a nice experience. Then on 3rd and 4 th period I got substitution in 9.A class. But due to the unavailability of projector I can't took my next lesson plan ICT model. Also it was a continuous 2 period. So I decided to taught graphical representations of motion and velocity time graph. I distributed graph paper to everyone and started with the basics. All of them are very active because it was like learning a new skill. All of them was active during the whole period. I stressed that it is easy to score marks using graph. I felt some difficulty in measurement and scaling. The students was very co operative. I felt interest among this.
On 06/08/2025 I reached school on 9.15 am. I had class for 9.D class on 2nd and 3rd period. I taught size of atom in group and size of atom in period. I used presentation, activity cards, for better understanding. All of them was active and co operative. I think ICT helped to create better understanding. Then after serving lunch I had class for 9.A class on 6th period. I presented road safety using ICT model. The model was really suitable to present the content. Through different slides I explained different road signs and road marking. The class was in computer lab . Initially the students was active and responsive. But it was difficult to manage them.
On 07/08/2025 I reached school on 9.15 am and signed in the register. I had class for 9.A class on 3rd period. I taught the topic equation of motion. During solving mathematical problems with this equations most of the students made mistakes. I used charts to present the equations. Then after serving lunch I got substitution on again 9.A class. So, I explained different mathematical tricks and game and puzzle to improve problem solving skills. Like a quiz section. Then after national anthem went to home.
On 08/8/25 I reached school on 9.15 am. Forenoon section was totally free for me. Then After serving lunch I got substitution in 9.A class. Also I had 7th period on the same class. Today was the begining of new chapter there. Laws of motion. I started the chapter by mentioning about the important game tug of war. So all the students participated in the discussion on different situations in the game. Then I explained resultant force in different situations. Also I used ICT and charts for better understanding and black board are used for mathematical problem solving. On 6th Period I presented Resultant force Then on 7th period I taught unbalanced force using concept attainment model. I presented examples using ICT. It helped to create a visual impact on them. Next phase the identified them through activity cards. The class was totally different from other periods. All of them was active and responsive. The section was more connected to real life instances. So the students paid attention throughout the class. Then after national anthem I went to home.
