Week 3

 On 17/11/25 Monday, my ninth day of teaching practice I reached the school on 9.30 am. I got substitution on first period in 8A class and I presented the topic Static electricity. The topic title was new to them but they are already aware about that. The class was full on energy on first period. So it is quite easy to gather their attention. The sports day of the pre school little kingdom was helding on our school ground. We also take parted in the event. The. I served lunch for students. After I had class on 8.A class and I presented the topic charging by conduction. The experiment I demonstrated helped to get a clear understanding about conduction. The. After national anthem I went to home. 

On 18/11/25 Tuesday on tenth day of teaching practice I reached the school on 9.30 am. I had class on 8.A class on 4th period and I presented the topic applications and disadvantages of static electricity. I felt it is necessary all of us must have a knowledge about this. Then I served lunch for students. Afternoon section was free for me. The. After national anthem I went to home.

On 19/11/25 Wednesday on my eleventh day of teaching practice I reached the school on 9.30.   am. I had class on 4th period on 9.A class and I presented the topic Earthing today. I performed a demonstration that I presented before with some changes and that helped them to create better understanding about earthing. Also they become aware about the importance of earthing in a an electric connection. Then I served lunch for students. Afternoon section was free for me. The. After national anthem I went to home. 

On 20/11/25 Thursday on twelvth day of teaching practice I reached the school on 9.30 am. Today I had class on second period I presented the Bases. I demonstrated experiment with litmus paper and bases and chart to differentiate alkalies and bases also a table to present different bases. The class was really active and co operative. All of them pay interest to the experiment section. Then I served lunch for students. Afternoon section was free for me. Then after national anthem I went to home. 

On 21/11/25 Friday on thirteenth day of teaching practice I reached the school on 9.30 am. I had class on third period on 8.A class and I presented the topic charging by induction. I presented images and videos to present the content. Also I presented a model of electroscope. The model was liked by students and many of them asked me about the construction of the model. Afternoon section was free for me. Then after national anthem I went to home. 



Biweekly Report

On 24/11/25 Monday on my fourteenth day of teaching practice I reached the school on 9.30 am. Today I had class on 4th period on 8.A class. I presented the topic Capacitor. They are familiar to the name but they don't know about capacitor. I presented several types of capacitors to them. They touched and felt the shape structure and features of different type capacitors. I presented the working by connecting the previous topics using Ict. But the lack of their previous knowledge denied the understanding of the topic so I mentioned again about earthing, method of charging etc in simple way. But they all are active in the class and showed interest on the topic. Then I served lunch for students. Afternoon section was free for me. Then after national anthem I went to home.

On 25/11/25 Tuesday on fifteenth day of teaching practice I reached the school on 9.30 am. I had class on 8.A on third period and I presented neutralisation reaction. Mostly I used ICT to present the content with several images and videos but I think if there was a provision to Demonstrate the reaction directly in a laboratory it would be a better experience to them. The introduction was really fun and helped me a lot to seek their attention. The I served lunch for students. The. After national anthem I went to home. 

On 26/11/25 Wednesday, sixteenth day of teaching practice I reached the school on 9.30 am. I had class on 8.A on second period I presented the topic lightning. I demonstrated a model and also used ICT to introduce safety measures. I think it was a necessary section for them. They got a clear understanding about the safety measures and practices. Then I served lunch for students. Afternoon section was free for me. Then after national anthem I went to home.

On 27/11/25 Thursday seventeenth day of teaching practice I reached the school on 9.30 am. There was a programme in the school organized by school NSS unit and BRC mavelikkara. It was a specs donation program and we also participated in the program. On third period I had class on 8.A class I presented the topic pH value using advance organiser model. I presented blood sugar level chart using Ict as an advance organiser. They are already aware about that so it served a foundation for the new informations about pH values of acids, bases, and neutral substance and they got clear information about how to differentiate a substance as acid, base or neutral on the basis of the pH value. The discussion section was quite lengthy other than that the model was really effective to present the content. Then I served lunch for students. On fifth period I had class again on 8. A class and I presented lightning conductor and lightning aressted. I used Model and ict to present the topic. Then after national anthem I went to home.

On 28/11/25 Friday eighteenth day of teaching practice I reached the school on 9.30 am. I got substitution in 8.A class on 4th period. I conducted a revision section in the class. I revised the previous chapters and discussed some important questions for their Christmas examination. Then I served lunch for students. And after national anthem I went to home

 15/09/2025 to 20/09/2025 15/09/2025 - Today I had class on 9.D class. I taught types of covalent bonds.(Single bond, Double bond, Triple bond)  I moved through each type using examples. All of the students was to curious to know sharing of electrons in  different molecules. They were very active. For Review I used cards with questions. They participated in very well. 16/09/2025 - Today I had class on 9.D on third period. I taught covalent compounds. I used ICT to present the compounds to manage time. And presented characteristics using a slide. Review was done through ICT. So all of them showed interest in participating Review section.  17/09/2025 Today was my observation day. I had 3 periods today. On 2nd period I taught the topic momentum. I used flash card, Newton's cradle and activity card to present the content.  On 11/08/2025 I reached school on 9.15 am and signed in the register after prayer. On third period I got substitution in 9.D class I started new chapter there. The topic was elements and compounds. I used ICT to explain the concept. Also activity cards that I used really helped to make better understanding in students. The Review section was very active nd responsive. On last period I taught about chemical bonding. It was last period and I am sure that they can  not pay full attention. So I used my energy maximum and for preliminary attention gathering I introduced the topic by connecting into real life. Then I moved the topic by using ICT, and activity card. All of them participated in the discussion regardless their energy. Then after National Anthem we went to home.   On 12/08/2025 I reached school on 9.15 am. There was a special assembly today. Week 8

 8/9/25 to 12/9/25 On 08/09/2025 School reopened after Onam vacation. Today I reached on 9.15 am. I got substitution in 8 E class. I conducted a game section there. All of them was very active and participated well. Then on 4th period in 9A class arithmetic games was instructed to them. Then on 7th period I distributed answer sheets of Onam examination and discussed questions and answers. Then on next period I conducted remedial teaching on the basis of my diagnostic test.  9/9/25 Public Holiday  10/9/25 Wednesday - Today I had 3rd period on 9.D class. I taught the topic covalent bond. I used ICT, chart and black board to present the topic. Then served lunch. On evening we signed National anthem It was a different experience for all of us.
